Hellas Frostbite Swimrun, live.

A winter swimrun in the Nacka forest

Hellas Frostbite Swimrun starts at 10:00 on Saturday 28 November 2026 at Hellasgården in Nacka, just outside Stockholm, and mixes running in the terrain with short swims in the cold.

Most swimruns happen in summer. Hellas Frostbite does the opposite and calls itself the world's first winter swimrun. The race is held at Hellasgården in Nacka, just outside Stockholm, and the organiser describes it as a challenging winter swimrun.

The course is about 14 km long and alternates running in the terrain and on snowy paths with short swims in the cold. There is one course and one start, at 10:00 on the Saturday morning. The organiser does not publish the split between running and swimming or the number of swims, so keep an eye on the final race information before the day.

This is a winter race, so plan for a cold day both in and out of the water and bring warm clothes for before and after the start. Registration stays open on the organiser's entry page until 09:59 on race morning, one minute before the start.

The entry fee is 500 kr, and all of the entry fees go in full to Barncancerfonden, the Swedish childhood cancer foundation, through Team Rynkeby Stockholm. Friends who come along can see the start at Hellasgården.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live if they choose to share their own position from the phone they carry during the race. That position comes from the participant, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
