Two days of skiing at Haanja in southern Estonia

The Haanja Maraton is a cross country ski weekend at the Haanja ski centre in southern Estonia and the third stage of the Estoloppet series.

The 49th Haanja Maraton is on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February 2027 at the Haanja Puhke- ja Suusakeskus. It is the third stage of Estoloppet, the series of Estonian ski marathons run by MTÜ Estoloppet, one week after Alutaguse and one week before the Tallinn ski marathon.

Saturday is the main race day. The marathon of 42 km starts at 11:00 and the half marathon of 21 km at 11:15. Children race over 1.2 km and 0.8 km in free technique from 11:30, and the prize giving for the Haanja Maraton is at 14:30.

Sunday is the Vabamaraton, with its own 42 km and 21 km starting together at 10:00. At the same time the Sõbrapäevasõit starts, a shorter ride on Sõbrapäev, 14 February, and the finish closes at 14:00.

Two race days give skiers a choice of date. Race numbers are handed out at the ski centre on the morning of each race day, and that is also where the starts and finishes are for anyone coming to watch.

On Livebib you can follow a skier who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organiser.
