Groet uit Schoorl Run, live.

Through the dunes and old woods of Schoorl

The 47th Groet uit Schoorl Run takes place on Sunday 14 February 2027, with a 30 km, a half marathon and a 10 km through the woods and dunes behind the North Holland coast.

The race is held every year on the second Sunday of February in Schoorl and is organised by Le Champion. The courses run through some of the oldest woods in the Netherlands and one of its widest dune areas, managed by Staatsbosbeheer, and pass through the old village centres of Groet, Bregtdorp and Catrijp. Individual entries for 2027 are already sold out, with places left only in the Business Run and the Kids Run.

All races start on the Voorweg in Schoorl and finish on the Heereweg. The 30 km and the 21.1 km both start at 10:45. The 30 km is one of the few 30 km road races left in the country and a classic test before a spring marathon, with a limit of 3 hours 30 minutes and a cut off at 20.5 km at 13:35. The half marathon starts with a lap through Schoorl, heads out to Schoorl aan Zee and Hargen aan Zee, and has a 3 hour limit.

The main event is the Mizuno 10 km at 14:30, on a course certified by the Atletiekunie, from the Voorweg through the woods towards Hargen aan Zee and back along the Heereweg, with a limit of 1 hour 30 minutes. The Kids Run starts at 10:25. Sporthal de Blinkerd, about 1 km from the start, has the bag drop.

Snow or spring sunshine, the dunes make this a scenic and honest course for marathon training or a winter 10 km. Supporters can see the start on the Voorweg and the finish on the Heereweg in the centre of Schoorl.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and split times come from the organiser.
