Fiemme Sky Race 30K
This page is about the 2026 Fiemme Sky Race. It climbs from Cavalese through Val Salime and the pastures of Armentagiola and La Bassa into the Cornacci group above Tesero, over Monte Cornon (2,189 m) and Dos dai Branchi (2,274 m), with views of the Lagorai chain and the Latemar. Then comes a steep descent to the Stava site at 1,250 m, a forest road toward Varena, fast ups and downs and a final 3 km descent into Cavalese. The organiser mentions the forests in their autumn colours.
Refreshment points are at Salime (km 9), Baito La Bassa (km 16), Stava (km 22) and the finish in Cavalese (km 30). The time limit is 9 hours, with the last arrival at 17:00, and the start-line briefing is at 07:45. It is the shortest of the four, the only one on Sunday, and the one that does not ask for a night out on the mountain.
The 30K runs on Sunday, when many families are already in Cavalese after the long races. With Livebib the runner shares a link to their own broadcast; family open it in a browser, with no account or app, and see the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. In the forest and on the descent to Stava, where the phone may lose signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
