Fiemme Sky Marathon 55K
This page is about the 2026 Fiemme Sky Marathon. It runs between the Cornacci and Latemar groups and crosses six peaks: Pizzancae, Pelenzana, Monte Agnello, Monte Cornon, Dos dai Branchi and Cima Valbona, at 2,691 m the same high point as the two longer races. The organiser describes woods, pastures and rock, with towers, couloirs and technical paths, then a forest road and fast ups and downs in the final kilometres before a last 3 km descent into Cavalese.
There are seven refreshment points: Salime (km 9), Baito La Bassa (km 19 and 23), Passo Feudo (29), Baito Scofa (38), Stava at 1,250 m (45) and the finish in Cavalese (52). The time limit is 15 hours, so the finish closes at midnight. Bibs are handed out from 07:00 on race morning, the start-line briefing is at 08:45, and the mandatory briefing is on Friday at 19:00.
Six peaks in the first half and a long run home make it hard to guess the finish from the start time alone. With Livebib the runner shares a link; family open it in a browser, with no account or app, and see the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. On the ridges of the Latemar, where the phone can lose signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of freezing.
