Dolomitenlauf Freestyle 21 km

This page covers the 2027 Dolomitenlauf 21 km in freestyle (skating). The race is two laps of the Dolomitenloipe at about 1,500 metres above sea level, and after the first lap the field comes through the Obertilliach biathlon stadium, the course’s central point. It starts at 10:00 at the same time as the long race, so early on both fields share the same track.

The 21 km ranking also takes in 42 km skiers who stop after two laps; they are moved across automatically. The organiser’s motto, “more enjoyment, fewer climbs”, fits the half distance well: a Worldloppet course at a manageable length. No ascent figure is published. Online entries close on Wednesday 20 January 2027 at 23:59, then on site with a 5 euro surcharge; shuttle buses run from the surrounding towns.

Two laps mean one pass through the stadium at halfway, which is the moment not to miss. With the Livebib link the skier shares, family and friends see in a browser, with no account, the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate. Without signal, the position is carried forward along the track and marked as estimated.
