Ten miles under the Scheldt and through the city
The Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles is a spring road race weekend in Antwerp, run over miles rather than kilometres.
The 2027 edition is the 41st and takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April. It has come a long way from the 800 participants at the first edition: the 40th anniversary edition in 2026 had 50,000 participants, and in 2025 the whole field ran 518,458.09 km between them.
Sunday belongs to the 10 Miles, exactly 16.09344 km, when the city is reserved for its participants. The course runs along the Scheldt, through the city's tunnels and through the city centre, and the Kennedy Tunnel is part of the race for the 18th time. The organiser promises a finish that guarantees a pure runner's high.
Saturday is for the 5 Miles, 8.04672 km, which the organiser calls the highlight of the day and which suits anyone stepping up from a 5 km. The youngest runners get the Kids Mile, exactly one mile or 1.609344 km. Because the distances are in miles, the finish time compares with no other race you have run, which is part of the charm.
The organiser speaks of thousands of supporters along the route. If you are coming to cheer, plan your trip in advance, because on Sunday the city is given over to the 10 Miles runners.
On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles.
