Runners meet in Cape Town on 5 December, with the pre race briefing on 6 December and the Antarctic logistics briefing on 7 December, then fly about five and a half hours to Wolf's Fang. The organiser expects about minus 8 C on race day and asks runners to be ready for colder. Everyone flies back to Cape Town on 9 December.
This page covers the Antarctic Polar Race 10K 2026. On Livebib, family and friends at home can follow a runner's position on the course, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes on.
