A classic marathon and a night race in Alutaguse

The Alutaguse Maraton is a cross country ski weekend at the Alutaguse sports centre in north east Estonia and the second stage of Estoloppet.

The 49th Alutaguse Maraton is on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027 at the Alutaguse Tervisespordikeskus. It is the second of five stages in the Estoloppet series of Estonian ski marathons, organised by MTÜ Estoloppet.

The main race is on Sunday in classic technique. The 42 km starts at 11:00 and the 22 km at 11:15, and children's races of 500 m and 2 km in free technique follow at 11:40. The prize giving is at 14:30.

Saturday has a different feel. The third women's marathon starts at 15:00 with 22 km and 10 km in free technique. At 18:00 the eighth night marathon starts, also over 22 km and 10 km in free technique, and the sauna village is open to all participants from 18:00 to 23:00. From 15:00 to 17:00 there is a minding service on skis for children.

Race numbers are handed out on Saturday from 12:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00. The race centre is where everything starts, so supporters can see the evening start on Saturday and the classic start on Sunday from the same place.

On Livebib you can follow a skier who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organiser.
