XLETIX Challenge Tirol Innsbruck, live.

An alpine obstacle run at 2,020 metres

The XLETIX Challenge Tirol Innsbruck is a team obstacle run at the Kühtai World Cup resort in Tirol, starting at 2,020 m with 236 to 1,300 m of further climbing depending on the distance.

The 2027 edition is on Saturday 26 June. The organiser calls it the highest obstacle run in Europe and expects obstacle racers from across the continent in Kühtai, with wide mountain views and untouched nature around the course.

Every XLETIX Challenge has three distances. FUN covers 6 km and 15 obstacles and is open from age 14. ADVENTURE covers 12 km and 25 obstacles, and X-TREME covers 18 km and 35 obstacles, both from age 16.

Expect a slower day than in the lowlands. The organiser's guide times are about 1 hour 20 minutes for FUN, 3 hours 5 minutes for ADVENTURE and 4 hours 40 minutes for X-TREME, and one participant quoted by the organiser remembers the last climb as hard. Public parking is limited, and the Drei-Seen-Bahn car park is closest to the start and finish area. Bus 4166 from Innsbruck stops at Kühtai Jagdschloss, a few metres from the event centre.

The motto is one team, one goal. XLETIX is built for running with friends, colleagues or family and helping each other through mud, water and walls rather than racing alone. Volunteers who help with set-up, take-down or on the day can start for free, and the organiser's photo partner Sportograf takes action photos of every participant on the course and at the finish.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live if they choose to share their own position from the phone they carry. That position comes from the participant, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
