Wild Gravel 65 km Ride
The organiser describes it as a ride with climbs, fast descents and scenic moments in the Stirling Range. The late start means riders arrive after the long-distance fields have gone out at 7:00 am, and finish in the afternoon, with the organiser expecting the last riders through the Event Village around 4:00 pm. Pitstops are on course; their locations, the elevation and the route line are not published on the organiser’s route page, so we do not give them here.
The Event Village is a gravel pit on Stirling Range Drive, about 7 km off Chester Pass Road. Passholders park in the village, others on the northern side of Stirling Range Drive, and shuttle buses run from several locations. There is little water at the village, so riders should come with their own.
This page covers the 2026 Wild Gravel 65 km. On a Livebib broadcast, family and friends see the rider’s position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the ride goes, in a browser with no account or app. Where the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of freezing. The rider decides who gets the link.
