Wild Gravel 10 km Ride

It is the shortest ride on the programme, a way onto Stirling Range gravel for riders who have never ridden it and for anyone who wants to be back in the village quickly. The organiser does not publish elevation, a route line or pitstops for the 10 km on its route page, so we do not either. It goes out after the 65 and 30 km, five minutes apart.

The Event Village is a gravel pit on Stirling Range Drive, about 7 km of gravel road off Chester Pass Road, with stalls, St John Ambulance on course and only a little potable water. Passholders park in the village, everyone else on the northern side of Stirling Range Drive, and shuttle buses run from several locations. The event is smoke-free.

This page covers the 2026 Wild Gravel 10 km ride. Even an hour is a while when you are waiting at a gravel pit with no view of the course. A Livebib broadcast shows the rider’s position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate, in a browser with no account or app; anything estimated is marked as estimated. The rider decides who gets the link.
