Wild Gravel 100 km Race & Fondo
Like the 150, it can be ridden as a race or a fondo, and the organiser describes the elite race as AusCycling-sanctioned. A 6.5-hour limit over 100 km asks for a steady average of a little over 15 km/h including stops, which makes it a serious ride but not an exclusive one. Pitstops are on course; the organiser does not publish their locations, the elevation or a route description on its route page, so we do not either.
The day is run from the Event Village, a gravel pit on Stirling Range Drive in the Shire of Gnowangerup, about 7 km off Chester Pass Road. Passholders park in the village, everyone else on the northern side of Stirling Range Drive, and shuttle buses run from several locations. Packs are collected in Albany on Wednesday 21 October or Gnowangerup on Friday 23 October.
This page covers the 2026 Wild Gravel 100 km. On a Livebib broadcast, family and friends see the rider’s position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the ride goes, in a browser with no account or app. Out of signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated. The rider decides who gets the link.
