Poland's big spring street race, in its 21st year

The Warsaw Half Marathon is the spring road half marathon of the Polish capital, run by the same organiser as the Warsaw Marathon.

The 21st Warsaw Half Marathon is set for 4 April 2027. The 20th edition in 2026 was a jubilee year, and the organiser called it the largest street race in Poland. The same team runs the Warsaw Marathon, which has been held for nearly 50 years. The organiser said it would announce the registration date in the second half of 2026.

The 2027 course has not been published yet. In 2026 the starting zones were on the Poniatowski Bridge, with a panorama of the city, and the route passed the Charles de Gaulle Roundabout with its well known palm tree, the Presidential Palace, the Polish Olympic Committee and Warsaw Zoo before the finish at the PGE Narodowy grounds, where the runner's village and bag drop were. The start stood at 96 m above sea level and the finish at 83.45 m.

The race is started in waves, and access to each starting zone closes 15 minutes before that wave goes. A 5 km race, the New Balance High Five Race, is held alongside the half marathon. The distance is 21.097 km.

Early April in Warsaw can be cool, and the organiser describes the route as a fast course. The 2026 edition was the largest street race in Poland, so most people will find others running their pace.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. The official results and splits come from the Warsaw Half Marathon organiser.
