The elite men race six laps of the long course, 3.9 km each, for 23.4 km in total, and the first lap includes the start loop. The long lap is the one with the extra descent followed by a climb, so the elite riders take that pair six times. The trails run through ravine-rich deciduous forest without rocky sections, and the technical and feed zone comes round once every lap.

Riders are seeded on the Västgötacupen overall standings from the previous race weekend and must check in ten minutes before the start. The maxi-start classes race for prize money of 1,000, 750 and 500 kronor, paid to the club. By 15:15 the course has seen racing since 09:00, and the spectator point at Tulleboring, where riders pass several times a race, is the place to stand. The prize-giving for this group is at about 16:30.
