Vista Mountain H40/HSenior/H50/H60

The group races four laps of the long course, 3.9 km each, for 15.6 km, with the start loop on the first lap. The long lap’s extra descent and climb come round four times, and the trails run through ravine-rich deciduous forest with no rocky sections. The technical and feed zone is passed once a lap. Note that the event page lists Men 60 with three laps while the programme gives four; check the organiser’s information before the start.

Veteran and senior riders are seeded on the Västgötacupen standings from the previous race weekend and check in ten minutes before the start. A licence and club membership are required in every class except beginners. The group goes out in the middle of the day, after the youth races and before the elite starts, and its prize-giving is at about 13:20. Changing rooms and showers are at Vistavallen, open from 07:00.

This page covers the 2026 edition. Two starts two minutes apart on the same lap make the order hard to read from Tulleboring. On Livebib the rider shares a link to their own broadcast, and family open it in a browser to see the position on the lap, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates every lap. Where the phone loses signal in the ravines, the position is carried forward and marked as estimated rather than freezing.
