UNBOUND Gravel XL 350
Five hundred and sixty-three kilometres, self-supported, on the same flint and mud as the two-hundred-mile race but with a night in the middle of it. The XL leaves before the main field and runs deep into the Flint Hills, through country with no towns, no services and no shelter, where a rider carries their own food and fixes their own bike or waits until morning.
There is no aid, no crew access and, for long stretches, no signal — which makes it one of the hardest events anywhere to follow from the outside. This page belongs to the 2027 running of the XL 350. On Livebib the whole route is drawn with the rider on it, distance covered and an arrival estimate that keeps moving through the night, so the people at home have something better than silence.
