Trail del Vero 30K

The 30 km is the Río Vero’s race. After a short loop through Alquézar it crosses the Collado de San Lucas and drops to the river at the Villacantal bridge, follows the Barranco de Lumos past Asque, the Barranco de las Gargantas and the Puente del Diablo to Colungo, and comes back along the Camino Natural del Somontano, over the Puente Baños and up the walkway route to Alquézar. A second loop runs by the Balsas de Basacol, San Pelegrín and the Fuente Mentirosa, then over the Tozal de los Tiestos and past the Abrigos de Quizans to San Lucas and the final descent.

Light aid stations are at Colungo and Mentirosa, and a full one at Alquézar. The organiser expected the first finisher around 10:30.

This page covers the 2026 Trail del Vero. The course comes back through Alquézar before its second loop, which is the one place a family is sure to see the runner pass. For the rest of the 30 km, a runner who shares the link to their Livebib broadcast lets them follow the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes — marked as estimated, and carried forward along the course if the signal drops in the river canyon.
