UTA11
Eleven and a half kilometres with 731 metres of climbing on the cliff-top and valley trails immediately below the Three Sisters — the shortest race of the festival and the one most people run first. It has the same descent into the Jamison Valley and the same 951 Furber Steps at the end as every other Ultra-Trail Australia distance, which is exactly why it works as an introduction to the place.
The limit is four and a half hours and the whole field is home the same afternoon. This page is the 2027 edition of the UTA11, with its own gun and course. On Livebib, supporters see the runner’s live position on the loop and an estimate of when they will reach the top of the steps, so a race short enough to miss is one nobody has to miss.
