UCI Gravel Chile, live.

UCI Gravel Chile at Lago Ranco, Los Ríos: 100 km and 58 km gravel loops from the lakeshore. Planned for 3 October 2026, now postponed by the organiser.

Lago Ranco, Los Ríos · October 3, 2026

A gravel loop that starts at 73 metres

The first UCI Gravel World Series race in the Los Ríos region, built from the shore of Lake Ranco — and, for now, waiting for a new date.

UCI Gravel Chile was planned for Saturday 3 October 2026 in Lago Ranco, in Chile’s Los Ríos region, as the first half of a weekend that continues the next day with UCI Gran Fondo Chile on the roads around the same lake. The organiser, the team behind the UCI Granfondo races in Brazil and Colombia, has since announced that the event is being rescheduled and that a new date is coming. Until it is published, this page describes the course as the organiser presents it.

Both distances start and finish on the lakeshore in Lago Ranco, at 73 metres. The 100 km course climbs straight away — four kilometres in two steps — to its high point of 260 metres after 13.5 km, turns right after 16 km onto a 67 km counter-clockwise loop that drops to its lowest point near Río Bueno, and comes back the same 16 km to the lake. The organiser gives it 665 metres of climbing. The 58 km Mediofondo uses the same start and finish with a smaller loop and 515 metres.

Gravel days are long stretches between villages, and that is where a rider’s Livebib link earns its keep. Whoever the rider shares it with opens it in a browser, without an account or an app, and sees the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the loop goes by. Where the phone loses signal in the forest, the position is carried along the course and marked as estimated rather than frozen.
