Tough Viking Stockholms Stadion, live.

Start and finish inside Stockholms Stadion

Tough Viking Stockholms Stadion starts and finishes inside the historic Stockholm Stadium on Saturday 15 May 2027, and the same day hosts the Swedish obstacle racing championships.

The open race is 8 km with about 27 obstacles, a mix of water crossings, strength obstacles, urban running and technical elements. The water is around 7 to 8 degrees and the ice tanks are close to zero. You can race alone in Open Female or Open Male, or together in Duo, Trio or Team for four or more, and the open class is for participants aged 12 and up.

OCR SM 2027 runs on a standard course of about 12 km with about 30 obstacles, starting and finishing at the stadium and taking in parts of Norra Djurgården. The preliminary start is 10:00. There are senior, junior and veteran championship classes, juniors are born 2008 to 2010, and veterans born 1987 or earlier race in five year age groups. Championship athletes must represent a club that belongs to the Swedish Athletics Federation, and entries close on 8 May 2027.

Start times for the open race are chosen at registration, and your final start time and bib number arrive by text message a few days before race day. On Sunday 16 May the arena hosts Tough Viking Kids for children aged 5 to 11, with start groups every ten minutes from 10:00 to 15:00, no timing, and a medal for everyone.

The organisers describe the stadium as a spectator friendly arena, and both the start and the finish are inside it. Changing rooms and showers are available inside the stadium, the prize ceremony is held at the start area at 11:30, and parking nearby is very limited, so public transport is the better choice.

On Livebib, a participant can choose to share their own live position from the phone they carry, so friends can follow along on the map. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from Tough Viking.
