The Thames Path 100 is a continuous 100 mile trail race along the Thames Path from Richmond in London to Oxford.
Centurion Running's Thames Path 100 starts at 09:00 on Saturday 1 May 2027 on Richmond New Waterfront, a minute from race HQ at Richmond Old Town Hall. Runners have 30 hours to reach the finish at Queen's College Sports Ground in Oxford, just off the Thames Path near the city centre. Up to 300 people start.
The course is 100 miles (161 km) with only about 560 m of climb. About 25% is paved and 75% trail. The 2027 route stays on the Thames Path from the start to the finish, with one minor deviation to the Clifton Hampden aid station, and any diversions for bridges, weirs or paths will be assessed nearer the time.
There are cut-offs at every aid station. Hot drinks are served from Hurley onwards and hot food at Henley, Goring and the finish. To enter, runners need a 50 mile race finished within 15 hours since 1 January 2022. Every finisher gets a buckle, with a one-day buckle for those under 24 hours.
Drop bags for the aid stations are handed in at the start between 07:00 and 08:45 and are returned at the finish on Sunday. The course records stand at 13:43:42 for men and 16:00:09 for women.
On Livebib you can follow a participant live when they choose to share the position of the phone they carry. That position comes from the participant's own phone and is not the organiser's timing, so official results and checkpoint splits come from the organiser.
