Ten kilometres through Bengaluru

The TCS World 10K Bengaluru has been held since 2008 and holds a World Athletics Gold Label.

The 2027 TCS World 10K Bengaluru is on Sunday 25 April. The Open 10K is for anyone who wants to race or run the full distance, and the Majja Run of about 5 km is a relaxed run that offers a chance to soak in the city's charm.

The race was the youngest to be given an IAAF Gold Label at the time and offers a prize fund of 210,000 US dollars, so the front of the field is fast. Past champions include Geoffrey Kamworor, Joshua Cheptegei and Peres Jepchirchir. The course records were both set in 2022, with 27:38 for men and 30:35 for women.

Charity plays a big part. Participants and supporters have raised about 59 crore rupees for social causes since the first edition, and the event calls itself southern India's leading sports philanthropy platform.

Check the organisers' race information for the 2027 start times and the course before you plan where to watch, and give yourself time to reach the start area on race morning.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the TCS World 10K Bengaluru.
