A September running weekend in Tallinn
The Swedbank Tallinn Marathon is the September road race weekend in the Estonian capital, with distances for everyone from children to marathoners.
The 2027 weekend runs from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September. It is organised by MTÜ Spordiürituste Korraldamise Klubi, and the 2026 edition brought together more than 35,000 participants. In 2026 every distance was run on a single lap course, and a half marathon under one hour was run in Tallinn for the first time.
The marathon of 42.195 km starts on Sunday 12 September at 9:00, and teams can also run it as a relay. Entry fees for the marathon range from 65 to 95 EUR depending on when you sign up, with a 20 percent discount for people aged 60 and over and for those under 20.
Saturday 11 September carries the half marathon of 21.1 km at 9:00 and the Tallinn Fall Race over 10 km at 14:00, which can be run or walked with timing. Young people have the Nike Youth Run over 5 km, and the youngest have the Limpa Kids' race. In 2026 those entered in a main distance also had a free Welcome Run in Kadriorg.
The weekend suits a first half marathon as well as a fast marathon, and a family can find a race for every age. Spectators should check the course maps on the organiser's page for the best places to stand in the city.
On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon.
