The organiser designed it as an after-work run to open the weekend, starting as the sun goes down over Lake Geneva. The route is gentle and accessible, out from Le Bouveret toward Les Evouettes and back, and its one refreshment stop was reimagined as an aperitif rather than a feed station. It is rated beginner and needs no ITRA points or qualification.

The time allowance tells the story: the organiser gave four hours in total, about an hour and a half out to Les Evouettes, an hour and a half back and an hour for drinks and snacks, while the fastest runner was expected after about 21 minutes. Back in Le Bouveret the race village carried on with music, a DJ set and a bar. This page belongs to the 2026 Discovery.

Ten kilometres is short, but the start is at dusk and the friends at the bar want to know when to look up. On Livebib the runner shares a link that opens in a browser, with no account and no app, showing the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the run goes. If the phone loses its fix, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
