Stirling Half Marathon, live.

A new closed road half marathon in Stirling

The Stirling Half Marathon is a new 13.1 mile closed road race through Stirling, first run on Sunday 16 May 2027.

2027 is the inaugural edition. The race is delivered by Up and Running Events together with London Marathon Events, combining the London team's event experience with Up and Running's roots in Scotland's running community.

The route runs through the heart of the city and beyond, with views of Stirling Castle, the National Wallace Monument and historic streets. The final route, elevation profile and course details will be published closer to race day, so participants should check the organiser's pages before training on any particular line.

The start area is at King's Park, a short distance from the city centre. Stirling has rail connections from across Scotland and the UK and regular bus services from nearby towns, and King's Park is easy to reach on foot or by bike. Parking and road closure details will follow nearer the event.

Entry includes chip timing and official results, a fully closed, signed and supported course, water stations, bag drop, on-course entertainment, a finisher's medal and event photography. A spectator guide with the best viewing spots is promised before race day, and supporters can cheer at the start, the finish and key points around the route.

If a participant chooses to share the position of the phone they carry, you can follow them live on Livebib. The dot on the map comes from their own phone, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are the organiser's.
