A skate ski race on the Haldo Hansson trail

SkejtHaldos is a 15 km recreational skate ski race in Trångsviken, held on the Sunday of the Haldos weekend.

SkejtHaldos is a recreational ski race in Trångsviken, organised by Alsens IF, Trångsvikens IF and Tullus Sjöbygdens byalag. It is the skating sibling of Haldo Hanssons Minne, the classic long distance race held in memory of Haldo Hansson on the Saturday of the same weekend. On the Sunday the organisers invite people to experience the Haldo Hansson trail on skate skis.

There is one distance, 15 km, skied on skate skis on the Haldo Hansson trail around Trångsviken. The race has two classes for women and men, junior and motion, and the organisers note that it is not a sanctioned competition and that everyone takes part at their own risk. Entry is by advance registration only, and bibs are collected at the car park by Trangia.

The race is on Sunday 21 February 2027, with a mass start at 10.00, so the whole field sets off together. Anyone coming to watch can follow the start in Trångsviken, and the day before, on Saturday 20 February 2027, the classic races of Haldo Hanssons Minne fill the same trails. Limited showers are available at the old charcuterie building up by Trangia.

Friends and family who cannot be there can follow along from home. A participant can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organisers on haldos.se.
