Grenen Trail

The course page gives about 32 km (the programme says 30) and lays the route out in order. It begins on gravel paths through Skagen Klitplantage, the dune plantation, takes about a kilometre of asphalt on Hulsigstien, and returns to gravel until it meets the coast. From there it runs on and beside the beach for the rest of the loop: up Nordstranden to Denmark’s northernmost point, round the tip of Grenen, then south past Gl. Skagen and back through small roads in town, past Det Grå Fyr and Vippefyret, to the finish on Fiskehuskajen.

The organiser calls it a hard route that will hurt, and most of the loop is on or beside the beach. No time limit, ascent figure or aid-station list is published on the course page. Prize giving for the trail is at 14:40.

This page belongs to the 2026 Grenen Trail. Much of it is beach far from the town, and on Livebib family follow the runner’s own broadcast in a browser, no app needed: position on the line round Grenen, distance covered and a finish estimate. If the signal drops on the shore, the position is carried forward and marked as estimated.
