Siljan Runt, live.

Around Siljan and Orsasjön from Sollerön

Siljan Runt is a non-competitive road ride in Dalarna that starts and finishes on Sollerön and celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2027.

The 2027 ride is on Saturday 5 June, and everything happens at Idrottsparken on Sollerön, where you find the start, the finish and the bib collection. It is not a race. The organiser describes it as a ride for all levels through beautiful countryside, with timing by chip at the start, at the depots and at the finish.

There are three loops, named in Swedish miles. The 160 km route rides around both Orsasjön and Siljan, through Mora, Bonäs, Våmhus, Orsa, Rättvik, Tällberg and Leksand before the last stretch past Siljansnäs and Björka. The 120 km route goes around Siljan only, and the 70 km route circles Orsasjön via Mora and Orsa. Much of the riding is on village roads and road 70 along the lake, and before the long hill up to Tällbergsporten the route turns off onto quieter roads through Kullsbjörken, Östanhol and Laknäs.

Starts are rolling and individual. The 160 km window runs from 06:30 to 07:40, the 70 km from 07:40 to 08:00 and the 120 km from 08:30 to 09:00. The depots serve sports drink, buns and bananas, and at Garsås there is coffee, broth, blueberry soup and hot dogs. Helmets are compulsory and normal traffic rules apply all day, and the finish closes at 18:00.

Parking on Sollerön is limited, so the organiser asks riders to share cars where they can. Between Sollerö church and Sockenhuset there is a drop zone where riders can be dropped off and cycle the last bit to the start area. Bibs are handed out at Idrottsparken on Friday 4 June from 14:00 to 22:00 and on race morning from 05:30 to 09:00.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from Siljan Runt.
