Half marathon in Ras Mohamed National Park

The Sharm El Sheikh Half Marathon is a running race in Ras Mohamed National Park at the southern tip of the Sinai, with 21K, 10K and 5K distances.

The 15th edition is on Saturday 28 November 2026. All three distances, the half marathon, the 10K and the 5K, start at 07:00, and the race is held in Ras Mohamed National Park.

The cut-off is 3 hours, which leaves room for people who want to walk part of the half marathon. The early start means participants run in the cooler part of the day.

The 21K suits anyone who has trained for a half marathon and wants to combine a race with a stay by the Red Sea. The 10K and 5K are open to families, friends and those newer to running, so a group can share the morning with each person choosing their own distance.

Since every distance starts at the same time from the same place, supporters can see everyone set off together. Check the organiser's event page for transport into the national park on race morning.
