RUN MALMÖ, live.

Two distances through port, city, park and beach

RUN MALMÖ is a half marathon and 10K race held in the city of Malmö, Sweden, organised by Malmö Allmänna Idrottsförening.

RUN MALMÖ is a city race on 19 June 2027, organised by Malmö Allmänna Idrottsförening, the athletics club known as MAI. The club also organises other races and describes this one as its half marathon in the city. Any surplus from the race goes to the club's work with children, young people and elite athletes.

The organiser presents the half marathon as a route through four sides of Malmö. It passes the port, where the city's industrial history still feels present, then the city streets with spectators, a park with green avenues and trails, and the beach with sea air and views along the water. The course is closed to traffic, with marshals showing the way and water stations serving water and sports drink. The organiser notes that the route includes pavements, gravel sections and cobblestones.

There are two distances, RUN MALMÖ 21K and RUN MALMÖ 10K. The organiser gives them as 21 097 metres and 10 000 metres, both measured and approved. The two races share one start and finish area. The organiser has said start times will be published later.

For people who come to watch, the shared start and finish area is the place to meet, and there is entertainment along the course. A participant can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from the phone they carry, so friends and family can follow from home or along the route. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
