Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon, live.

A fast, flat half marathon on Al Marjan Island

The Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon is known for fast times on flat, modern roads around Al Marjan Island, in the cool of a winter morning.

The next Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon is on Saturday 30 January 2027. The 19th edition was held in February 2026, when three-time world champion Geoffrey Kamworor won the race again 13 years after his first victory there. Race day has four distances: the half marathon, a 10 km road race, a 5 km road race and a 2 km fun run.

All four races start and finish on Al Marjan Island, and the organiser describes the roads of Ras Al Khaimah as some of the fastest, flattest and most modern in the world. In 2026 the routes ran past beachfront resorts with views along the coast. Route maps for each distance are published by the organiser before race day.

The elite half marathon starts at 06:15 and the mass half marathon at 07:00. The 10 km follows at 08:30, and the 5 km and the 2 km fun run go at 10:00. The organiser expects about 10 to 15 degrees at the start. Entrants must be 18 or over for the half marathon and 15 or over for the 10 km, while the two shorter races are open to all. Water comes every 2.5 km from 5 km on the half marathon.

Run numbers are collected in the days before, at The Agenda in Dubai Media City or at the Al Marjan headquarters grounds. Spectators will find the Half Marathon Village with live bands, other activities, food and drink through the day.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser of the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon.
