Vodafone Prague Marathon, live.

Spring marathon from Old Town Square

The Vodafone Prague Marathon is RunCzech's spring road marathon through the historic centre of Prague, with a two person relay and a family mile.

The 32nd Vodafone Prague Marathon takes place over the weekend of 1 and 2 May 2027. The race holds the World Athletics Elite Label and the organiser counts 17,000 runners. The course records are 2:05:09 for men, set by Alexander Mutiso of Kenya, and 2:19:46 for women, set by Lonah Chemtai Salpeter of Israel. The organiser says it ranks among the world's most prestigious marathons and lets you run alongside world record holders.

The marathon starts from 08:00 on Sunday 2 May in Old Town Square and leads through Prague's historic centre over 42.195 km. RunCzech publishes the course as a map, a GPX file and a Garmin course, and notes that the maps on the site are from the 2026 season, with the 2027 map to follow.

On the same morning the ČT 2Run Prague Marathon splits the marathon distance into 2 x 21.0975 km, a race with an element of a relay: both runners start with the marathon field, and the first hands over to the second in a designated area. On Saturday 1 May the dm family mile of 1.609 km starts from 15:00, and short bambini runs of 100 to 200 m follow for children.

The family mile starts from Výstaviště Holešovice by Stromovka park. The marathon entry fee covers a certified course, showers and a post-race massage, and optional extras include medal engraving with your finish time and a EUR 10 contribution to the charity Světluška.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. The official results and splits come from the RunCzech.
