A spring half marathon through Poznań

The PKO Poznań Półmaraton is the April road half marathon of Poznań, starting by the Poznań International Fair and finishing on ul. Grunwaldzka.

The 19th edition is on Sunday 18 April 2027, with the start at 9:00. The 18th edition in April 2026 had a record turnout, with 13,505 people at the finish from 45 countries. More than a fifth of them were running their first half marathon, and 11 wheelchair athletes took part.

In 2026 the course started on ul. Roosevelta by the East Hall of the Poznań International Fair and went along Głogowska and Hetmańska through Górczyn and Raszyn, out along Grunwaldzka to Junikowo and back by Bułgarska and Marcelińska near Lasek Marceliński. For the first time it passed through Enea Stadion, and it ended with a long straight on Grunwaldzka to the finish.

The flat city course and the large share of first timers make it a good first half marathon, and the field is fast at the front: in 2026 John Nahhay Wele of Tanzania won in 1:00:52 and Sheila Chepkirui of Kenya set a women's course record of 1:06:08. The race belongs to the Korona Półmaratonów Polskich, and the weekend also has kids races and the Poznań Run Expo.

In 2026 there were 24 cheering points along the course, one of them on the stands of Enea Stadion, so spectators have plenty of places to watch.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the PKO Poznań Półmaraton.
