Seventy kilometres with 3,052 metres of ascent on the northern and eastern parts of the Mt. FUJI 100 course — the forest trails, the lakes and the ridges that give the race its view of the mountain. It is a hard day rather than a long one, and it shares aid stations and finish line with the hundred-mile race, which means the last kilometres are run past runners who have been out since the previous morning.

KAI is the distance most runners use to meet this terrain before committing to the full lap. This page belongs to the 2026 edition, with that year’s race day, course and aid stations.
