London Landmarks Half Marathon, live.

London's half marathon through Westminster and the City

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed-road half marathon in central London, and the only one that runs through both the City of Westminster and the City of London.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027. The race is run by LLHM Ltd, whose holding company is the pregnancy and baby charity Tommy's. Tommy's created the race to benefit itself and many other good causes, and the profits from the event go to Tommy's.

The start is outside Whitehall. The course takes in historic Westminster, heads down the Embankment with views of the landmarks along the River Thames, and then goes through the old and new City before returning to the finish. Along the way participants see Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, The Shard and the London Eye. The organiser describes it as fast and flat. The 2027 route has not yet been announced, and the 2026 route is the best guide until it is.

The ballot for 2027 is closed, so the way to take part now is through one of the official charity partners. Ballot places can still be used to raise money for any charity the runner chooses.

With so many well known landmarks on the route, supporters can choose a spot they already know, such as the Embankment or St Paul's, and wait for participants there.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live when they choose to share the position of the phone they carry. That is their own position, not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
