Loimaan Lenkki 5,2 km

The 5.2 km is the middle distance of the day: longer than the free family loops of 1.2 and 2.4 km that start at 12:30, shorter than the 10.2 km it starts with at 13:00. The organiser describes every route as smooth and flat asphalt roads, so the vitonen is a course where a first race and a fast one are both realistic. The route map for the 5 and 10 km is published on the organiser’s page.

Advance entry for the 5.2 km cost 8 euros, or 6 euros for groups of at least eight and for junior chamber members, and late entry was taken on site from 11:00 to 12:15. The event is run by JCI Loimaa, had 65 runners in 2025, and is built as a family day: an MLL agility track for the smallest children at the venue, a free swim at the Vesihovi swimming hall and a sauna at Toimistohotelli until 17:00 afterwards.

On a short flat course the useful number for anyone waiting is the finish time. The runner can share their own Livebib link, which opens in any browser with no account and no app, showing the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. Anything estimated is marked as estimated, and the runner decides who gets the link.
