Loimaan Lenkki 10,4 km

Loimaan Lenkki 10,4 km

The organiser publishes the long distance as 10.2 km and describes the route the same way as all the others: smooth, flat asphalt roads. That makes it a course for running a time rather than for climbing. The 10.2 km starts at 13:00 together with the 5.2 km, half an hour after the free family distances have gone off, and the route map for the 5 and 10 km is on the organiser’s page.

Advance entry for the long distance cost 14 euros, or 12 euros for groups of at least eight and for junior chamber members; on the day, entry was taken on site from 11:00 to 12:15. The event is small, with 65 runners in its 2025 edition, and the organiser frames it as a family event that suits competitive runners as much as anyone out for a run. After the finish there is a free pass to the Vesihovi swimming hall and a sauna at Toimistohotelli until 17:00.

The family may well be out on the shorter routes themselves while the long run is on. With the runner’s own Livebib link, opened in a browser without an account, they can check where the runner is on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes, marked as an estimate. If the phone loses signal the dot is carried forward along the course rather than frozen.
