Lincoln Half Marathon, live.

Past the castle and cathedral from the Showground

The Lincoln Half Marathon is a road half marathon that starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground and tours the historic city of Lincoln.

The 2027 race starts at 09:30 on Sunday 3 October 2027 and is organised by Run For All, which also runs the City of Lincoln 10K. A Lincoln Duo season ticket covers both races.

From the Showground the route heads along Middle Street into the heart of the city, passing Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. It then follows the Foss Dyke near the University of Lincoln before crossing back over the canal towards the Showground. The organiser publishes a static map, an elevation map and an interactive route map.

Entrants must be 17 or over on race day. Entry includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive finisher's medal, with the option of a technical finisher T-shirt. Race numbers are collection only, with times and places published closer to the event, and partner charities are in the event village.

The organiser describes it as a fun and friendly event for runners of all abilities and a good one for fundraising, whether for a partner charity or a cause close to a participant's heart.

If a participant chooses to share the position of the phone they carry, you can follow them live on Livebib. The dot on the map comes from their own phone, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are the organiser's.
