Levanger Maraton 10 km

The 10 km is one lap of the course around Levangersundet: out from the track, round the sound with views over the fjord and Levanger town centre and back to the finish on the track. The organiser describes longer flat stretches, a clearly marked route all the way and drink stations staffed by volunteers along the whole course, with medical cover throughout. The untimed 10 km uses the same course with an open start between 11:00 and 11:20, and children up to 13 run it free.

Four pacers carry flags for 40, 45, 50 and 60 minutes, at 4:00, 4:30, 5:00 and 6:00 per km. Prize money for the first three women and men is 1,000, 500 and 250 kroner, the prize-giving is at 12:20 in the crowd area, and every finisher gets a medal.
