AYDER 4K
The organiser describes a course on forest trails, narrow single track and natural stone paths, passing through the World Pass gateway in Ayder. It winds through the forest without climbing to the high summits the other races reach.
The organiser presents it as an introduction for first-time trail runners, outdoor enthusiasts and local residents, and lists young participants among its audience. At 11:00 it starts when the 100K runners have been out for seven hours and the 50K for three, which makes it the race for the people who came to Ayder to wait for them.
