Julita Duathlon – SM elit

The elite start goes first, half an hour ahead of age-group and motion. The first run is three laps of about 1.7 km on the gravel paths of the estate park, nearly flat and fast. Then transition and 30 km on the bike round Lake Öljaren, through rolling farmland and small villages with around 200 m of climbing, two stop signs that apply to everyone and a fast finish on road 214, before the last three park laps to the line in front of Stora huset.

Drafting is not allowed: front wheels stay at least twelve metres apart, and the roads remain open to traffic. Any ordinary bike that is safe and has working brakes is allowed, time-trial and triathlon bikes included, but not e-bikes. A competition licence is required. Elite prize money is 6,000, 5,000, 4,000, 3,000 and 2,000 SEK for the top five women and men, with prizes given at 17:00. This page covers the 2026 championship class.

In a championship much is decided out on the bike lap, where spectators at the park see nothing. With Livebib, the athlete shares a link to their broadcast, and family follow it in a browser with no account and no app: the position round Öljaren, the distance so far and a finish estimate that updates during the race. If the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated. The athlete decides who gets the link.
