ING Night Marathon Luxembourg, live.

An evening marathon through Luxembourg City

The 20th ING Night Marathon Luxembourg starts at 19:00 on Saturday 8 May 2027, when the marathon, half marathon and team run leave LUXEXPO THE BOX together.

The ING Night Marathon Luxembourg is a road race that starts in the evening and runs into the night through the capital of the Grand Duchy. The 20th edition is on Saturday 8 May 2027 and is organised by step by step S.A. The course links the districts of the city, from the modern Kirchberg to the old town on its steep sandstone rocks.

Marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km) and the Team Run, a marathon relay in four legs for teams of up to four, all start together at 19:00 at LUXEXPO THE BOX. Marathon entrants may decide during the race to stop at the half marathon distance. The time limit is six hours for the marathon and three hours for the half. The 5k Run for Success starts at 20:10 at the Musée d'Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean, and the 4.2 km Minimarathon and the 1 km Mini Minimarathon start at 19:30 and 19:40.

Registration closes on 24 March 2027 unless the race sells out earlier. Bibs, the Expo42 fair and the pasta party are at LUXEXPO THE BOX on Friday 7 May from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday 8 May from 10:00 to 16:00.

For spectators, the tram is the easiest way to move around. The Luxexpo stop is close to the start, but between 19:20 and 21:15 the line is interrupted between Theater and Faïencerie where the course crosses the tracks, and a staircase at the Glacis lets people cross the course.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and splits come from the organiser.
