Idre Classic, live.

The season final of The Originals at Idre Fjäll

Idre Classic is a classic technique ski race at Idre Fjäll in northern Dalarna on Saturday 3 April 2027, with 50 km, 30 km and 11 km.

Idre Classic is the newcomer among the Swedish long distance races. It was skied for the first time in 2026 and returns for its second edition in 2027 as the last round and season final of The Originals, the cup run by Svenska Långlopp. The organisers are Svenska Långlopp, Idre Fjäll, Idre SK and Särna SK.

All distances are a mass start in classic technique. The elite women on the 50 km start at 09:45, and everyone else starts at 10:00: the elite men and competition classes on the 50 km, the 50 km recreational classes, and the 30 km and 11 km recreational classes. The finish house is at the ski stadium at Idre Fjäll.

The 50 km has competition classes split by age, from 17 to 20 up to 60 and over, plus a recreational class with an age limit of 17. The 30 km and 11 km are recreational only, which makes the 11 km a friendly way to try a fell race and the 30 km a solid spring outing. The 11 km is one lap of Burusjöspåret on the western side, the 30 km adds a lap of Slättvålaspåret on the eastern side, and the 50 km skis Burusjöspåret once and Slättvålaspåret twice.

Bibs are collected in the Lappspiran conference room by Torget at Idre Fjäll. Prize giving is at 15:00 on Torget, including the prizes for The Originals, and the after ski starts there straight after, during the Snöröjet week. In the evening the season ends with dinner at restaurant Vistet, which opens at 18:00.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry during the race. This is a separate service and not the organiser's timing. Official times and results come from Idre Classic.
