Two days of triathlon by Skantzen in Hallstahammar

Hallsta Triathlon is a two-day triathlon weekend in the ÅsbySkantzen area of Hallstahammar on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May 2027, run by Mälardalens Triathlonklubb.

For 2027 the event grows to two days. On Saturday the Swedish championship in supersprint is decided with drafting, and on Sunday the same senior, junior and youth athletes race a sprint with a pursuit start on the same bike. The weekend is also a round of the Nordic Triathlon Cup and the Swedish Triathlon Cup.

The supersprint is 400 m of swimming, 10 km on the bike and 2.5 km of running, with the men off at 15:00 and the women at 16:30 on Saturday. Sunday opens at 09:30 with the sprint pursuit over 750 m, 20 km and 5 km. The age group race over the standard distance, 1500 m, 40 km and 10 km, starts at 09:36 for ages 20 to 79, while those aged 80 and over race the sprint distance. All times are preliminary.

Not chasing a ranking? The open class on Sunday lets you pick your own distances, from 400 or 750 m of swimming to 20 or 40 km on the bike and 2.5 to 10 km of running, alone, as a relay team or as a para athlete, and no licence is needed. Children up to 15 race Tri4Fun inside Skantzö Bad och Camping on Saturday.

Entry opened on 31 October on Mitt Lopp, and entry for Tri4Fun opens on 1 February. Course maps, the race information and a detailed schedule with check-in and prize giving come closer to the event, and the organiser lists hotels, cabins and camping close to the race.
