A classic ski race over 42 or 15 km

Haldo Hanssons Minne is a classic technique ski race in Trångsviken in Jämtland, Sweden.

Haldo Hanssons Minne is a classic technique ski race held in memory of Haldo Hansson. The organiser says the 42 km race runs for the 66th time on Saturday 20 February 2027. It is organised by Alsens IF, Trångsvikens IF and Tullus Sjöbygdens byalag, offers elite racing and seeding for Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan, and is part of Jämtland Ski Tour.

The start is north of the E14, 200 m from Trångsvikens bygdegård, in the power line corridor. According to the race memo, the long course is skied as 21 km twice, and the organiser publishes a course map and a course profile on its site. Both races are in classic style and follow the rules of the Swedish Ski Association.

Participants choose between 42 km and 15 km. In the race memo on the site, the 42 km starts at 12.00 and the 15 km at 12.30. Bibs are collected at Trångsvikens bygdegård. Along the 42 km there are drink stations at 7 km, 10 km, 16 km, 21 km, 28 km, 31 km and 37 km, and at the finish.

The organiser welcomes spectators as well as skiers, and parking is signposted at Trångsvikens Chark west of the start. A participant can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from their phone, so family and friends can follow from home. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
