The organiser’s measured distance is 101.4 km with about 1,204 m of climbing and 76 per cent gravel. The course follows the long route’s opening: a flat, paved 2.5 km start, then out to the first feed at 29.4 km on Wicket Hill Road and over the Wicket Hill Climb, a kilometre at an average of 11 per cent. It rides one 43 km loop into the farmland and hills, with a feed at 44.5 km on Upton Road and again at 71.9 km on Wicket Hill Road, and then turns for home instead of riding the loop a second time.

This is the UCI distance for women 50 and over and men 60 and over, so it is a qualifier for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in its own right. Recreational riders from 15 years old can ride it too. All feeds carry sports nutrition, fruit, bakery goods and water.
