Course & challenge

Gravelista 50KM

The organiser’s measured distance is 58.8 km with about 547 m of climbing, and 61 per cent of it is gravel, the most road of the three courses. It is an out-and-back along Hughes Creek with a single feed station at 29.4 km on Wicket Hill Road, which is also the turn, before the same roads take riders back to the racecourse. Like every Gravelista feed, it carries sports nutrition, fruit, bakery goods and water.

There is no UCI category on this distance, which makes it the course for a first gravel event or for riding with friends. It starts three quarters of an hour after the last UCI wave, on the same day and from the same racecourse, and the UCI category presentations are scheduled for 2:30 pm.

This page covers the 2026 Gravelista 50 km. An out-and-back is easy to follow: the Livebib broadcast shows family and friends where the rider is on the line, how far they have come and when they should be back at Seymour, in a browser with no account or app. A position the phone could not send is carried forward and marked as estimated. The rider decides who gets the link.
