Beyond it the Gran Fondo descends to Luino, follows the road through Germignaga and Porto Valtravaglia to Castelveccana, and climbs back to the feed at Brezzo di Bedero, km 64.6. After Mesenzana come Brinzio, the feed at Castello Cabiaglio (km 88.5), the Gemonio hairpins, Gavirate, Lago di Varese and the final climb from Schiranna to the finish at km 126. The organiser’s closure timetable, planned at 20 km/h for the last riders, keeps the road at the finish closed until about 16:10.
