Gotland Ultramarathon

About 50 kilometres and 400 metres of climb, with the sea on your right the whole way. The first two kilometres follow orange flags from Hallshuk; then the Klintkustleden coastal trail takes over, with orange marks on posts and trees, until about 29 km. From there the white marks of the Kinnerstugan exercise trail lead to about 35 km, and the last part follows orange flags down onto the beach below Krusmyntagården and along Brissund beach, through the pasture after Själsö harbour and up onto the cliff edge before the crossing into the finish at Östergravar.

The energy stations are at Svarthäll after about 14.5 km (unmanned, closes 12:00), Lickershamn after about 22.5 km (manned, closes 12:30), Nyhamn after about 34 km (unmanned, closes 15:00) and Brissund after about 40 km (manned, closes 15:30). The finish closes at 17:30. Runners must carry a phone with the emergency number saved, the course GPX and their own cup or bottle, and in bad weather a jacket and extra base layer can be made mandatory. Splits are taken at Lickershamn and Brissund.

Where the phone loses coverage, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
